Meaning, that a Colorado based loan officer can usually obtain the very same loan program and rates through such national lenders. Consequently, there is really nothing to be gained by you working with an out of state loan officer. Only potential disadvantages. While in great contrast, there are many substantial advantages in your working with a local loan officer. Such as better service, a smooth and more reliable loan process overall. 2) There are many websites that suggest how you should use their service in order for you to have several lenders compete for your business. Well the fact is that such websites are just bad news for borrowers. Because these websites perform no loan services at all! In truth they are just private lead collection company websites. Stories I Have Heard In our many conversations with veterans about their previous bad loan experiences, we have heard many shocking stories.
